Patrick Dean Mcallister

Patrick Dean McAllister, 68, of Akron, went home to be with the Lord on March 16, 2021 with his wife by his side. While he will be dearly missed, we rejoice in knowing that he recently asked Jesus into his heart and is now with Him forever.
Pat was born in Akron on July 19, 1952 to the late Wallace and Cecilia McAllister. He graduated from East High School. Pat had several careers including as an operating engineer with Local 18. Pat loved his job and all the guys he worked with. Pat's passion was riding his Harley Davidson. Even after a paralysis causing injury, Pat was committed to his physical rehabilitation work which allowed him to ride once again on a trike motorcycle with hand controls.
In addition to his parents, Pat was preceded in death by his grandson, Noah Stehler.
He is survived by his loving wife, Chris McAllister; sons, Jason Stehler and Joshua McAllister; siblings, Cynthia Shreffler, Mick McAllister, Steve McAllister, and Tim McAllister; grandchildren, April and Summer; mother-in-law, Janet Haga; sisters-in-law, Darlene Morgan and Cheryl (Bob) Biasella; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 21, 2021 from 2:30-4:00 followed by a 4:00 p.m. funeral service with Pastor Butch Pursley officiating at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron.
