Patrick Jon Rossano, "Pat", age 84 of Mogadore, Ohio, died at his home on September 26, 2022.
He was born on September 24, 1938 in Akron, the son of the late Michael Angelo and Anne Elizabeth (nee Hutchinson) Rossano.
Pat was an honorably discharged US Army veteran.
He owned and operated his own auto mechanic shop, Pat's Sohio in Rootstown and Pat's Marathon in Kent. He eventually worked and retired from AutoZone in Akron. He loved to cook spaghetti and meatballs.
Survivors include his son, Bradford "Brad" (Brenda) Rossano, with whom he lived; his grandchildren, Steffany "Steffy" Rossano, Tiffany Hatton, Aubrey Rossano and Tiona Rossano; his great-grandchildren, Talon, Khloe, Slade and Klair.
His siblings also survive, Michael (Gail) Rossano, Mickey Smith, Margaret Rowe, Linda Ash-Collins, Paul (Caroline) Rossano; and many nieces and nephews.
Other than his parents, Patrick was preceded in death by his wife, the former Celia Estelle Higgins, on April 9, 2015, they were united in marriage for over 50 years; his son, Steven Rossano on September 2, 2002; and his brother, Joseph Rossano.
Per Pat's wishes there will not be any calling hours or services and cremation will take place.
All arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron, Ohio.
