Patty Ann Weaver Shanaberger

Patty Ann Weaver Shanaberger, 78, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2024 surrounded by her family. Born in Akron, Ohio to Clarence and Esta (Brown) McDaniel, she resided in the Akron area most of her life. Patty enjoyed baking, cooking, watching crime shows, camping, dancing and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Patty was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Kenny Weaver, Sr.; also husband of 3 years, Richard Shanaberger; son, Chris Weaver; son-in-law, Jimmy Lewis; siblings, Fred Hopkins, Charles Hopkins, Ellen Belofi. She will be sadly missed by her children, Barb Lewis, Nancy Weaver, Teresa (Chuck) Kitchen, Kenny Weaver, Jr., Skieler Miller; 20 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; sister, Mary Lowden; many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to visit Wednesday, November 20, 2024 from 11 a.m. to 12 noon at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. The funeral service will follow at 12 noon at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Patty's name to the family.
