Paul A. Boughton, 82, passed away on December 16, 2009. Paul was a graduate of East High School and the University of Akron, where he played baseball and was a member of Lonestar Fraternity. He was a US Army Veteran. Paul retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. He also enjoyed bowling. Preceded in death by his great-grandson, Ryan; brother, Harvey on October 1, 2009; sisters, Jean Doering and Lucile Goodman; brother, Jim Boughton. Survived by his wife, Bertie; children Ken (Brenda), of N. Canton, Kathy (Dan) Vargo, of Akron, Scott (Nicola), of Iowa; grandchildren, Mark, Jon, Todd Vargo, Shea and Leah Boughton; great-grandson, Zachary; 1 great-grandson on the way; and brother, Harold (Carol), of California. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family and officiated by Dr. David Weyrick. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
