Paul Bohm,91, born January 20, 1921, died unexpectedly on Saturday, April 28, 2012.
He is survived by his son, James (Jim) Bohm; his companion of 20 years, Shirley Branch; his sister, Helen Bertison; brother, Lawrence Bohm; nephews; nieces; great-nephews; great-nieces; and many special friends.
He was known as the Pepper man of Green at Paul's Pepper Patch. He served his country in WWII and was awarded a Purple Heart. He was a member of the VFW. He retired from Goodyear Aerospace as a tool and die man for 40 years. Paul was a dog lover and a horse lover. He was a generous, inventive and loving man. He will be sorely missed, especially by his best friend, Grumpy.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, 10 am to 12 pm at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, OH, with a funeral service to follow at 12 p.m. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
