Paul C. "Bud" Barnett, born on March 19, 1934, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2014.
Well known for his lifelong sense of humor, love of life, and gift of music. Preceded in death by wife, Joy in 2012.
Survived by daughters, Susan (Jack) Didado and Paula (Chris) Havlik; son, Paul W. Barnett; step-daughters, Jodi Wood and Jennifer Pietzker; grandson, Paul W. Barnett, II; loving friend, Wanda Barnett; brother, Bill (Christine) Barnett; sister, Janet Needleman; many grand and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Monday at 5 p.m. at Firestone Park Christian Church, 40 E. Wilbeth Rd. Akron, OH 44301, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Per Bud's wishes, no flowers please.
