Paul J. Mccray

Paul "Mac" J. McCray, 87, went home to be with the Lord on October 24, 2011. Born July 17, 1924 in Roanoke, WV to John and Mary McCray, he has been an Akron resident most of his life. Paul retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. after 43 plus years of service.
Proceeded in death by his parents; brother, George; sisters, Ruth Post and Ann Brown; daughter, Mary Lucetta Jones; daughter-in-law, Billie Jean Joiner; sister-in-law, Amelia Jackson. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Frances; daughters, Patricia Rice, Saundra Price, Sharon Lane, Sharon White and Candace (Loren) Ross; sons, Paul (Jessie) Joiner, Don Joiner; 22 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Mary Mumma; along with many other dear relatives and friends.
The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Summa Hospice, especially Marla, Beth, Nikki, Amy; also to our family and friends who have supported us.
Services will be Friday, October 28, 2011, at 1:30 PM at Falls Creek Community Church, 149 Northmoreland, Munroe Falls, with Rev. Michael Thomas officiating. Calling hours will be from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM prior to the service. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
