Paul S. Moats Sr.

Paul Samuel Moats Sr. age 96, of Akron passed away on July 23, 2024. He was born in Akron on May 30, 1928. Paul married the love of his life Ivene and they had 3 sons, Larry, Jeff, and Paul Jr. He was preceded in death by parents Murrence and Nina Moats, wife Ivene, son Larry, and brothers Don and Ray. He is survived by sons Jeff, and Paul Jr. (Renate). 

Paul proudly served in the U.S. Army out of high school in 1946. Paul worked at Goodyear Aerospace for over 30 years. He also delivered Mobile Meals after retirement. He enjoyed going to the casino and monthly get togethers for breakfast with his Goodyear buddies. Paul also enjoyed family vacations especially the ones with his loving wife in Hawaii. 

Graveside service will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery for immediate family. The family would like to thank Altercare of Hartville and Absolute Hospice for their wonderful care.
