Paul L. Mothersbaugh, 68, of Akron, passed away January 6, 2016. Paul was born in Akron, Ohio on June 5, 1947 to the late Paul and Julia Mothersbaugh. Paul retired from Karman Rubber with over 30 years of service. He received his Honorable Discharge from the U.S. Army, having served as a tracked vehicle mechanic in Germany with the 8th Infantry Division. In his free time, he enjoyed going to flea markets and auctions, playing cards and spending time with family .
He will be deeply missed by daughters, Misty (Gary) Fontana, and Karrie (Brian) Pritt; son, Ryan Mothersbaugh; sisters, Norma Andrews, Ethel Bennett, Shirley Barnes, Alice Hardway, Linda Lawson, and Julie Begue; grandchildren, Thayer, Alexander, and Xavier, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, January 10, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Road, Akron. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to his family.
