Paul Bryan Payne

Paul Bryan Payne, 51, of Copley, passed away on November 3, 2023. He was born in Akron, Ohio on February 20, 1972 to the late Paul F. and Peggy {Scruggs} Payne, whom he missed dearly.

Paul is survived by his loving fiancée Shelly Wenhold; dear friend Walter Poulson; cherished Phi Delta Sigma fraternity brothers from the College of Wooster; and many longtime childhood friends, especially Caram, Jesse, Kevin, Rick, Rob and Courtney.

Paul graduated from Copley High School in 1990 and then attended the College of Wooster.

Paul was a truck driver for numerous lumber companies. In his free time, he enjoyed the outdoors. He was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and The Pittsburgh Steelers.

Paul was a talented musician and enjoyed singing, playing his guitar and listening to music. He took great pride in being the choir director at Charity Missionary Baptist Church.

Per Paul's wishes, cremation has taken place, and a memorial service with a dinner to follow will be held on December 2nd at 3:00 p.m. at Charity Missionary Baptist Church, 1579 Jacoby Rd.
