Paul D. Schrock

Paul D. Schrock, 80, of Akron, passed away on January 20, 2025. He was born on October 18, 1944 the son of the late Vernon and Ada Schrock. For many years he drove trucks for W.G. Lockhart Construction, Horning Concrete, and CementTech. He also proudly owned and operated Schrocks Lawn Care. He was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Cavaliers and the Guardians. He was well known for his sense of humor, loving heart, and for being a "Jack of All Trades".

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings Roger Schrock and Marian Wagner; and beloved daughters Laura Graybeal, and Kristin Nist.

Paul is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Linda S. Schrock; daughters Gail (Gary) Cottingham and Heather (Jeremy) Fisher; grandchildren Joe, Dylan, Dustin, Cody (Rachel), Katelyn, Taylor (Justin), Nathan (Bailey); great-granddaughter Kennedy; and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, Thursday, January 23rd at Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N. Canton Rd., Akron) where services will be held Friday at 1:00pm with Pastor Dave Shew officiating.

Interment will be held at Hillside Memorial Park.
