Paul J. Shahan, 70, of Uniontown, passed away May 11, 2006. Paul retired from B.F. Goodrich after 31 years of service. An avid outdoorsman, Paul took hunting and fishing trips all over the country. He will always be remembered for his hard work and love of family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Waitman and Blanche Shahan; brothers, Arthur, Orville, and Joe; and sister, Edna. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Elena; children, Susan (Mike) Coulson of Aurora, IL, Bruce Shahan of Uniontown, and Michael (Tonya) Shahan of Marlboro; sisters, Wilma Wolf of Detroit, MI, Sylvia Dreher of Toledo, Sue Jackson of Norton, and Jean Poling of Tallmadge; brothers, Robert of Livonia, MI, Ross of Wooster, and Jacob of Madisonville, TN; and grandchildren, Morgan and Grant Coulson and Jacob and Elizabeth Shahan. A funeral service will be held on Sunday at 6 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Family and friends may call from 4 p.m. until the time of service.
