Paul W. Marchok, 69, a lifelong resident of Akron, passed away October 25, 2005 at his residence. He was born January 29, 1936 in Akron, Ohio to the late Paul & Anna (Muzik) Marchok. Paul was employed for 35 years by the Akron Board of Education as a custodian and was involved for many years in the Boy Scouts. In his free time he enjoyed gardening and woodworking but most of all spending time with his beloved grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Mary Smith and Barbara Hood. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Alyce (Mowery); daughters, Paulla (Tom) Oyler and Pamela Marchok; son, Jeffery Marchok; grandchildren, Michael, Jimmy, Zachary, Cody, Alyssa, Emily and Grant; sisters, Anna Bulgrin, Pauline Collins, Kate Heppe and Carol Marchok; brothers, Andrew (Judy) and John (Paulette) Marchok. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. with Rev. Scott Campbell officiating.
