Paul William Wagner

April 20, 1978 — June 2, 2023

Paul William Wagner, 45, of Akron, passed away unexpectedly on June 2, 2023. Paul was a devoted husband, son, father, brother, papaw, uncle ("Pickle Paul"), and friend. He had a huge heart, and was always there to help someone in need. He was dependable and hardworking. He enjoyed being outside, whether it was fishing, golfing, spending time by a bonfire, working in his yard or around the home. He was truly a jack-of-all-trades and had a variety of interests, including woodworking and working with his best friend, Adam, at Walcraft Construction.

Paul was a diehard Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Fan who absolutely hated the Pittsburgh Steelers and "TTUN"! He loved to make others (and himself) laugh and smile.

He was preceded in death by his aunt, Marsha Pruner; uncle; Ed Blackwell; grandparents, John Wagner Sr., Willa and William Blackwell; cousin, Stevan Wagner; fathers-in-law, William (Tami) Schwarz, and Wayne Dunson.

Paul will be deeply missed by his wife, Holly Wagner (Schwarz); children, Ashley (Devin) Shelton, Rachel Wagner, Shawn Wagner, and Olivia Wagner; step-children, Jonny and Desirae; father, John (Jackie) Wagner; mother, Kathleen (Glen) Wagner; mother-in-law, Kimberly Whitehouse; brother, Tony (Jenn) Wagner; step-brother, Ryan (Courtney) Kuhns; step-sisters, Stephanie Flint (Frank) and Andria (Ben) Pettit; sisters-in-law, Brittney, Annie, and Mina; brothers-in-law, Billy and Eric; and his beloved grandbabies, Jade, Adaline, Payton, Leland, Dalton, and Vivienne. His memory will also be cherished by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Per Paul's wishes, cremation has taken place.
