Paula A Beha

Paula A. Beha, 81, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on July 24, 2022. She was born in Akron, Ohio and was a lifelong resident. Paula graduated from Garfield High School and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree and a Masters of Science in Management degree from the University of Akron. She retired from Akron Public Schools in 2010 after 34 years of service to the children of Akron. She was very proud of the work that she did on their behalf.
Paula was an avid reader who loved learning. Her greatest passion was travel. She believed that it opened your mind and your heart through exposure to history and culture. Her children and grandchildren learned that from her and they all travel and seek out new experiences. Paula traveled to every continent with the exception of Antarctica. She traveled throughout Europe, the Caribbean, Central America, the Panama Canal, the Galapagos Islands, Russia, Egypt, Dubai, India, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and throughout the United States including Alaska and Hawaii.
Paula's greatest joy was her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Nothing made her more happy than the times spent with them.
Paula was preceded in death by her sister Patricia.
She is survived by her children, David (Beth) Beha, Jill (Brian) Regenos, and Daniel Beha; grandchildren, Caitlin (Nate) Worth and Patrick (Brittney) Beha; great grandchildren, Liam Worth and Emme Worth.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the National Heart Association, the Akron-Canton Food Bank, or an animal shelter of your choice.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 10:00am to 11:00am at Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N. Canton Rd., Akron).
Services will be held directly following visitation at Hillside Memorial Park (1025 Canton Rd., Akron).
