Pauline A. Hawk, 62, of Akron, passed away on January 17, 2014. She was born in Barberton on June 5, 1951 and graduated from Ellet High School in 1969. Pauline was employed with Akron City Summa Hospital.
She will always be remembered for being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved everyone she met. She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior and one day we will see her again in Heaven.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Miller and stepfather, William Miller. She will be deeply missed by her husband, Gary Hawk; children, Robert (Julie) Biggs, Stephanie Kashnier, and Derek (Kristy) Hawk; father and stepmother, Paul and Jeanne Humphrey; sisters, Laura (Sam) Claburn and Sue (Steve) West; brothers, William (Kim), Robert (Chris), and Paul Humphrey; eight grandchildren. She also leaves her beloved dog, Cleo.
Visitation will be Wednesday January 22 from 11 a.m. -1 p.m., followed by a 1:00 p.m. memorial service with Rev. John Beers officiating. Private interment will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
