Pauline R. Coleman

Pauline R. Coleman, 79, passed away August 14, 2021 after a brief illness. Born in Akron, Ohio to Paul and Martha (Goon) Westfall, she was a lifelong area resident. Pauline retired after 30 years from St. Thomas Hospital, where she worked as a Dietary Aide. She greatly enjoyed crafting, do-it-yourself projects and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Richard Coleman; daughter-in-law, Teresa Coleman; and grandson, Jason Coleman.

She will be sadly missed by her children, Gloria Rege-Stockdale (Bob), Everett Coleman, Sandy Freeman (Mike), Harold Coleman, Melissa Hughes, and Sally Smith; 14 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; siblings, Juanita Phelps, Vernie Brown; her beloved dog, Baby.

Family and friends are invited to visit Monday, August 23, 2021 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. The funeral service will take place Tuesday, August 24 at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Tallmadge Cemetery.
