Pauline E. Allen, 85, of Akron, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 15, 2008. She was a loving wife and mother and devoted caregiver and best friend of her son, Daniel. She was born October 19, 1923 in Gilmer County, Georgia. Pauline was a member of Lakeview Lighthouse Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Herdis M. Allen; and parents, William M. Stover and Nellie M. Stewart. She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Richard) Lecour; sons, Daniel, Joe (Donna), Gerry (Lorraine) and Jeff (Debbie); grandchildren, Paula, Joe, Melissa, Shauna, Aimee, Phillip, Paul, Caitlin, Jordan and Mattie; great-grandchildren, Clint, Alysha, Kayla and Chloe; sister, Betty Greene; brothers, Lewis, Dennis and L.C. Stover. Calling hours will be Monday from 4 - 8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron and Tuesday from 10 - 11 a.m. at Lakeview Lighthouse Church, 1065 Kubler Trail, Akron where funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday with Rev. Dwayne Ray officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Park. Romans 8:28.
