Pauline Ebie, 84, of Suffield Township, passed away January 13, 2005. She was born July 3, 1920 in North Carolina to the late Audie & Mamie (Rogers) Dills. Pauline was a life long resident of the Akron area. She was a loving wife and mother who loved gardening and the outdoors. Pauline was a member of Springfield Church of the Brethren. In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Lester, 1 sister, and 1 brother. She is survived by her daughters, Jeanne (Leroy) Beach and Irene (Larry) Thomas; sons, Francis Ebie and Donald (Laura) Ebie; 1 sister; 1 brother; 8 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. Family and friends may call Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. where funeral services will be held Tuesday at noon. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association.
