Pauline L. Hicks, 72, of Akron, passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2001. Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, K.C. Hicks, and her mother, Cecil Henry. She is survived by her son, Jim Hicks of Akron; daughters, Carol Noble of Akron and Linda Hicks of Columbus; grandchildren, Jason (Misty) Noble, Wayland (Barb) Hicks, Raymond Van Buskirk, Jimmy Cvitkovich, and Brandon Hicks; great-grandchildren, Alec Noble, Ryan Noble, and Tyler Jackson. Friends and family may call at NEWCOMER-FARLEY FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., on Wednesday, July 18th from 5-8 p.m. where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. Interment at East Akron Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Summa, 444 N. Main St., Akron, OH 44310.
