Pearl E. Brick, 91, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away July 8, 2008. Pearl was born November 25, 1916 in Berlin, PA to the late Jacob and Elsie Platt. She was a member of the Eastwood Church of the Brethren, the Munroe Falls Historical Society, and the Munroe Falls Garden Club. She retired from General Tire, having worked there as an inspector. Pearl was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Henry; her infant son; brother, John Platt; and sisters, Goldie Boughman and Nellie Nickson. She is survived by her sister, Mae Coughenour and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Visitation will be Friday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 followed by a 10:30 service at Springfield Church of the Brethren, 3500 Albrecht Ave. Interment at Stow Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Eastwood Church of the Brethren.
