Pearl E. Hayes, age 79 of Akron, Ohio, died on Sunday, February 12, 2017 after a long illness.
She was born in Lenoir, NC on June 11, 1937, the daughter of the late Euirl and Elizabeth Gragg.
Pearl was a retiree from Goodyear, after retirement she moved to Clearwater, FL, where she enjoyed the weather and dear friends.
Survivors include her children, Teri Mazariego, Randy Hayes, and Edie (George) Cadwell-Saad; her grandchildren, Jon, Alex, Scott, and Nick Mazariego, Morgan and Monique Hayes, Ross and Crystal Cadwell; one great grandchild, Liam Mazariego; her siblings, Geneva (Jerry) Spears, Nomie Jean (Boyce) Roberts, and Ford Gragg.
Other than her parents, Pearl was preceded in death by her son, Ronald Hayes; one brother, Earl Gragg and one sister, Rebecca Lambert.
Family and friends may pay their respects at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron on Friday, February 17, 2017 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM.
