Peggy Jean Robinson
Peggy Jean Robinson, 52, went home to be with the Lord on July 7, 2007 after a courageous battle with lung cancer. She was born in Akron and lived most of her life in the Akron/Barberton area. She worked at Acme #6. Peggy was a loving, caring wife, mother, and Nana. She loved sitting on her porch and having bonfires with her family. She is survived by her loving husband, Melvin Robinson; mother-in-law, Johann Robinson; brother, Mark (Gerald) and Bobby Lane; brother-in-law, Marty (Janet) Robinson; sister-in-law, Misty (Joe) Redpath; daughter, Kelly Harrison; stepdaughters, Jennifer and Jackie Robinson; son, Kevin Harrison; and nine grandchildren whom she loved very much. She also leaves many nieces, nephews, and friends. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 6-9 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. A brief service will follow calling hours.
