Peggy Jo Wolfe

Peggy Jo Wolfe, age 82 of Akron passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family on Monday, October 11, 2021. She was born in Houston, WV on February 25, 1939 to the late William and Elizabeth {Stapleton} Staubs.

In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Elmer C. Wolfe, Jr., brothers William Staubs, Jr. and John Staubs, sisters Mary Lou Adkins, Judy Staubs and Margaret Staubs.

Peggy is survived by her children Mike (Angie) Wolfe, Sr., Marc (Linda) Wolfe, John (Lynn) Wolfe, Bonnie King, Randy (Carla) Reynolds and Cindy (Russ) Cox, and was a cherished grandmother and great-grandmother of many, and loved by all.

Peggy loved her four B's: boatin', bingo, Buckeyes, Browns and the beach.

Friends and family are welcome to visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, 44305 on Wednesday, October 20, from 10:00 a.m. until the service begins at 12:00 noon. Following the service, a committal service will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, where Peggy will be laid to rest with Elmer.
