Penny Lyn Horvath, age 52 of Green Twp., Ohio, died on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at her home at 6:20 PM.
She was born on November 14, 1965 in Akron, the daughter of Jerry (nee Hill) Troyer of Akron and the late Larry Troyer.
Penny owned and operated her own cleaning company. She enjoyed "Big Hair Wednesdays", fishing, golfing, and shopping at Khol's.
In addition to her mother of Akron, Penny is survived by her husband, Michael C. Horvath; her children, Tayna (Kory Engle) Hess and Caitlin (Ryan) Newman; her granddaughter, Nevaeh Engle, and her grandson, Kaleb Engle; and two very special nieces, Alyssa and Haylie Troyer; her siblings, Gary Troyer, Jack Kelly, Tammy Hill, Brenda Troyer, Debbie Lantz, and Stacy Hall; and her mother-in-law, Irene (nee Nelson) Tenney.
Other than her father, Penny was preceded in death by her sister, Juanita Kelly; and her father-in-law, Albert Horvath.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, where family and friends may gather from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
Pastor Robert Webb will celebrate Penny's life.
