Peter M. Uhrain
Peter M. Uhrain, 91, of Akron, passed away October 19, 2004 at the Hospice Care Center. He was born June 10, 1913 in Youngstown, Ohio to the late Michael & Mary Uhrain. Peter worked as a supervisor at Goodyear Aerospace before retiring with 25 years service. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Naomi, in 1970; son, Richard Uhrain; grandson, Douglas Uhrain; 5 brothers. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Twilla (Lowe) Uhrain; daughters, Cynthia and Jean; sons, Terry (Kathy) and Bob (Shirley); step-daughters, Joyce and Mona; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be Thursday from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. at NEWCOMER-FARLEY FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. where funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Betty Lowe officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. If desired, contributions in Peter's memory may be made to the Hospice Care Center, 3358 Ridgewood Rd., Akron OH 44333.
