Phillip Andrew Berish, Sr., 41, went home to be with the Lord on August 6, 2007. He was a very loving, very loved, and very devoted father, husband, son, brother, and uncle. Phillip was employed by Tallmadge Asphalt. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was always very involved in all of his children's sports and activities. He is survived by his wife Katherine; daughters Kayla and Kelsey ; son Phillip, Jr.; parents Ronald Berish, Sr. and Dorothy Berish; brother Ronald Berish, Jr.; sister Diane (Tuna) Murphy; grandma Regina Berish; mother and father-in-law; sister-in-law; and many friends. He will be sadly missed but never forgotten. We love you Phil! The family would like to extend special thanks to Parkview Center and Hospice of Summa for their loving care during Phil's illness. Calling hours will be Thursday, 5-8 p.m. and Friday 12-1 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. where a funeral service will be held Friday at 1 p.m., Minister Kevin L.
