Phillip loved music, dancing, being outside, playing poker and pool, and gambling on the race track. He spent most of his life working as a mason, doing residential and commercial work throughout Summit County and surrounding areas. His favorite part of the craft of masonry was designing and building fireplaces. In his later years, he went on to work for Summit County Engineer until he retired after 17 years. It was in the second half of Phillip's life where he truly came into his element. Becoming a grandfather was his greatest joy, and he became the man he always wanted to be. He truly loved being "Papa" to his two granddaughters.
Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, a celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date. To leave a message for Phillip's family, please scroll below.
