Phillip P. Crihfield Sr. passed away in his wife's arms and holding his sons hand peacefully on Good Friday, March 29th 2024, surrounded by family and friends. His battle with cancer is now over. He is preceded in death by his mother Patricia Crihfield (Smith), Grandparents Leroy & Mary Crihfield, and John & Mary Smith. He is survived by his wife of 30 years Tara Johnson-Crihfield, his 23 year old twins and best friends Rachael and Phillip Crihfield Jr., His very special Uncle and Aunt, Roy and Cathy Crihfield, Father Donnie Crihfield, His Brother Chris and (Becky) Smith, and brother John Crihfield, his fuzzy children Amy, Kaleb, and Freddy and many cousins, nieces & nephews. He belonged to Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers for 25 years and was the kindest, strongest, simplest, humble man you'd ever meet and his word was his bond. He loved using his trade as a way to give back to others and not ask for a penny. He has a huge beautiful heart and soul. A special Thank you to Audrey and Mike Turnbull and family for all their help. Phill you are deeply missed and thank you for being my best friend for 37 years and for our beautiful twins. His celebration service will be at 6:00PM with our dear friend and Pastor Jim Roma officiating at Newcomers Funeral home 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, Ohio on April 11, 2024 and visitation from 4-6 PM prior to the service. Donations can be made directly to his family or to the Comunale Cancer Foundation.
