Phillip D. Harbert

Phillip D. Harbert, "Phil", age 59 of Akron, Ohio, died on his 41st Wedding Anniversary on December 18, 2021 at his home.

He was born on March 14, 1962 in Akron, the son of the late Robert and Rosetta (nee Tanner) Harbert.

Phil loved riding his Harley, he collected antiques-especially clocks. His greatest joy was his family and spending time with them.

Survivors include his loving and devoted wife, the former Kimberly Pointer, whom he married on December 18, 1980; his three sons, Daniel Harbert, David (fiancee, Candise) Harbert, Dale (Bridget) Harbert; former daughter-in-law, Latoya Harbert; and his grandchildren, Makayla, Jaden, Dawson, Lily, Jackson and Jennifer "Jenny"

Also surviving are his siblings, Ralph Harbert and Michelle (Tim) Huber and their families; his special cousin, Mike (Mary)Harbert and Uncle Bill.

Other than his parents, his step-mother, Sandra Harbert is deceased.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron.

Family and friends may visit on Monday, December 27, 2021 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
