Phillip Garrett Lloyd, "Phill", age 37 of Akron, Ohio, died on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at his home.
He was born on March 10, 1980 in Virginia Beach, VA, the son of Janet Booth of Akron and the late Peter Lloyd.
Phillip was a free spirit who was very artistic, thoughtful and kind soul. He loved playing his guitar.
Other than his mother, survivors include his step-father, Brian Tirbovich; his two siblings, Kevin R. Lloyd of Captain Cook, Hawaii and Erin (John) Brand of Johnstown, PA; three nieces, Rachel, Elizabeth, and Sarah Brand, and one nephew, Johnathan Brand; many aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.
Other than his father, Phillip was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Betty Thompson Booth, and Russell and Marjorie Evans Lloyd.
Memorial services will be held at the Salvation Army, 1006 Grant Street, Akron, on Monday, July 17, 2017 at 12:00 PM.
