Phyllis Marie Foster-Davis, 61, passed away suddenly on December 19, 2020. Phyllis was born on November 12, 1959 to parents Gary Eugene "Geno" Foster and Sharon Jarvis. She attended Woodridge High School and then moved out to California. There she met her first husband, Lloyd E. Davis. Shortly after, they moved back to her hometown of Akron, Ohio.
When Phyllis had her first son, Edward, she worked around the clock to create a perfect life for her family. In the following years, her twins were born, Miles and Grant. Supporting them through many passions and difficulties in their lives, she embraced the wholeness of motherhood.
In later years, becoming a single mother, she went on to serve the many patrons of The Glens for 20 years. With a personality that could light up the room, she made countless friends and made it her mission to improve the lives of others. Phyllis was incredible, indescribable, and irreplaceable, and she will be missed forever.
Preceded in death by her loving parents, Sharon Ann and Gary Eugene Foster; brother Gary Eugene Foster II, Phyllis is survived by her sons Edward, Miles and Grant; and her loving partner of many years, David E. Moore. Together they created many memories and countless stories, sharing their love for each other with many friends and family.
Phyllis greatly respected others' lives and their safety, and for that reason, there will be a private service held for her family. Her sons will be recording the service, and are happy to share the link with those that wish to watch. A public celebration of her life will be held in summer of 2021.
