Phyllis L. Dennison

Phyllis L. Dennison, 73, passed away peacefully at home on June 12, 2013, with her family surrounding her. She was born in Akron and resided in Lakemore her entire life. She retired from Buckingham-Doolittle and Burroughs after 23 years of service. Phyllis enjoyed traveling, her winters in Florida, cross-stitching, gardening, and was very family-oriented. She was a member of Calvary Temple.

Preceded in death by her parents, Irene and Richard Dailey; stepson, Carl Dennison, Jr. Survivors include her husband, Carl, of over 25 years; children, Cindy (Steven) Orton, James (Belinda) Rollyson, and David Rollyson; sister, Susan (Jim) Vanbuskirk; grandchildren, Jennifer, Krystal, Tiffany, Brandon, James, Joey, Jhonny, Ray, Jeremy, Jason, Jollena; step-grandchildren, Jason and Brian Dennison; also, many great-grandchildren and extended family members.

Calling hours will be Saturday, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, with a funeral service to follow at 1 p.m., with Pastor Lindsey Hayes officiating.
