Phyllis M. Wassam, 78, passed away on January 24, 2023. She was born on April 24, 1944 to Fred and Iva Johns. She belonged to Canton Baptist Temple.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald R. Wassam and son, Roger E. Wassam.
She will be dearly missed by her children Jeanette (Mark) McFarland, Donald (Sonja) Wassam, Rhonda (Bill) Keyser; grandchildren, Rachelle, Stephanie, Brian, Carrie, Heather, Nick, Valarie and Christine; great-grandchildren, Jordan, Layla, Logan, Lincoln, Calvin, Kinsley, Brinkley, Landin, Sawyer, Freya and Bailey;
Friends and family are invited to visit Friday, February 3, 2023 from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at Newcomer Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. the funeral service will follow at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Interment at Hillside East Cemetery in Randolph, Ohio.
