Poldina M. Staggers, 77, of Akron, passed away May 14, 2007 at her residence. She was born March 14, 1930 in Akron, Ohio to the late Leo & Marie (Antos) Srba. She was a member of High Street Christian Church where she cooked for her congregations for over 25 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Joe Srba. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Jessie T. Staggers of Akron; daughter, Kathy (Bruce) Bailey of Akron; granddaughter, Randi Graham; great-granddaughter, Alyssa Graham; numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Private services will be conducted Friday at the convenience of the family. According to her wishes, there will be no calling hours.
