Porter S. Clark

Porter S. Clark, 82, of Randolph, passed away September 13, 2012. Porter was born in Akron on September 19, 1929 to the late Russ and Bertha Mae Clark. Porter worked for Goodyear Aerospace and later Loreal, retiring after over 40 years of service. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of Akron Baptist Temple. In his free time, he enjoyed camping, fishing, country music, and visiting the family farm in Alabama. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Mary Ellen Clark. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 62 years, Doris; sons, James (Linda) and Gary; sister, Loudine (John) Baumgardner; grandchildren, Brendan (Rachel), Devin (Kristen), and Jaret (Katie); and great-grandchildren, Leandra and Jaret Lee. Visitation will be Saturday September 15 from 9-10 followed by a 10 a.m. funeral service at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
