Ralph D. Bailey

Dave Bailey, 71, of Akron, passed away on October 31, 2017. He was born on March 18, 1946 to the late George and Helen Bailey. Dave served in the Army during the Vietnam War from 1967-1968. He retired from B & W after 30 years of service.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 51 years, Delpha "Del" Bailey (Adkins); daughter, Debbie Myers; two sons, David and Isaiah Bailey; five grandchildren, including Amber Witte, and four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bob and Roger (Kathy) Bailey; a host of other family and friends; and special love to Evelyn Kendrick, Sue Reynolds, Sarah Hosington, Phyllis and Sherry Holt.

Friends and family are welcome to Newcomer 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, OH 44305 on Monday November 6, 2017 from 5pm-8pm, and again on Tuesday November 7, 2017 from 9:30am-10:30am, with a funeral ceremony will take place at 10:30 a.m. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
