Ralph Donald Heil

Ralph D. Heil, 91, of Akron, went peacefully to be with the Lord on September 7, 2022. He was born in Tallmadge, OH to the late Christ and Marie {Suess} Heil.

In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by his wife Marian; brothers Christopher, Robert and Edward and their wives; sister Rose and her husband.

Ralph loved spending time with his family and going on yearly vacations. He was a very giving person, and would help anyone in need. For his identical twin granddaughters, he did not call them by name, because he was afraid he'd forget, and always called them "sweetheart." For years, Ralph made sure the family knew that during his funeral, he wanted everyone to know what a great guy he was.

Left to cherish Ralph's memory are his children, Linda (Bill) Allen, of Cuyahoga Falls, and David (Debbie) Heil of Laurel Hill, FL; grandchildren, Heather (Blake) Hokamp, Kimberly (Chris) Roy, Phillip (Danielle) Heil, Kelly (Seth) Frink, Joshua (Jennifer) Allen, Jessica Allen, Christine Allen, Rosemary (Richard) Thomas; great-grandchildren, Olivia, Grace, Liberty, Josef, Nora, Sophie, Wyatt, Jackson, McKenzie, Ethan and Dylan; and many other family members.

Friends and family are welcome to Newcomer 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, on Sunday, September 18, from 12:00 p.m. until the memorial service begins at 1:00 p.m., with Joshua Allen officiating. To leave a special message for the family, please scroll below.
