Ralph "Mac" L. McAfee
Ralph "Mac" L. McAfee, 67, of Akron, passed away February 18, 2006. Mac served for 12 years in the military during both the Korean and Viet Nam wars. He is also a life member of the Army - Navy Union Club #799. Mac will be missed by many and loved by all that knew him.
Mac is preceded in death by his father, Wayne McAfee; mother, Bertha (Vinson) Hawkins and step-father, Glen Hawkins; brother, Bill McAfee. He leaves behind his life long companion, Lois Young of Akron, OH; daughters, Brenda (Tim) Drinkard and Donna McAfee both of Eva AL; grandchildren, Lee, Tony, Brent and Malerie; two very special nephews, Carey and Mike; and a very special buddy, Tom Jodan.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 22 at 12:00 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME 131 N Canton Rd. with interment to follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 21 from 5-9 p.m.
