Ralph Anthony Maione

Ralph Anthony Maione, age 65 of Kent, Ohio, died on March 20, 2017 at 4:20 PM at his home.
He was born on July 23, 1951 in Akron, the son of Dorothy Ellen Hembree Maione of Tallmadge and the late Tony Maione.
Ralph was a 1969 graduate of Tallmadge High School. Mr. Maione was a real estate agent for several agencies.
He was a proud and honorably discharged US Marine veteran serving during the Vietnam War.
He enjoyed traveling, baseball, golfing, hiking and backpacking, and most of all spending time with his grandchildren.
Other than his mother, survivors include his children, Anthony L. (Kelly) Maione of Aurora, and Rachel A. (Chad Jenkins) Maione of Akron; three grandchildren, Aubrey and Nathan Maione, and Cayden Jenkins; his loving companion, Mary Carr; his siblings, Deborah (William) Blankenship, Mary Ellen (Michael) King, Tamara Duben, and Daniel Maione; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, where Pastor Aric Smith celebrate Ralph's life.
Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Sunday at the funeral home from 1:00 - 3:00 PM.
