Ramona [Call me Bonnie] Mae Huft (Glenn)
1927 - 2018
Bonnie Huft, 90, left this world with arms outstretched, reaching for the Light only she could see, on April 18, 2018. She was born on December 3, 1927 to Marie (Davis) and Robert Glenn in Akron, Ohio.
A joyous spirit, she worked at various jobs, but her true calling was being a homemaker and making others feel welcome. She divided her time between a home in Mogadore, Ohio and one in Wewahitchka, Florida. She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Wewa and attended Uniontown United Methodist Church in Ohio. She was loved and cherished by friends and family in both places.
She was a member of Panhandler Piecemaker's Quilt Club, the Widow's Group, and GFWC Woman's Club. Many of her friends and family are the proud owners of the beautiful afghans she crocheted. An avid reader, she also loved going for walks and playing games (she was a fierce competitor!).
Preceded in death by her husband, John D. Huft, she is greatly missed by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Larry DeLonais; grandchildren Amanda Johnson and John DeLonais; great-grandson Aidan Johnson; sister Frances Nichols; sister-in-law Carol Utzinger; brother- and sister-in-law Rev. Jerry and Jackie Huft; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Information for memorial services to follow at a later date.
