Randall (Randy) Seaver passed away unexpectedly from a severe automobile accident on March 28, 2016. He was born in Barberton on May 10, 1957 to Dale and Ina (Zahler) Seaver. He is reunited in Heaven with his daughter, Kelley Rene. He leaves behind his wife of 36 years, Debi (Murray); their son, Dustin; and his good looking canine as Randy liked to call him, Cooper. He also leaves brothers, Duane (Lori) and Keith; his best friend, Bill Bender who he loved like a brother; Debi's mom, Vicki Chapman and Debi's five sisters, Janet, Sandy, BJ, Teri, and Di who Randy loved to tease; many nieces and nephews.
Randy grew up in Portage Lakes and graduated from Coventry High School. He later moved to Manchester. Randy had a love for life and people and was rarely in a bad mood. He had a way of lighting up every room he entered with his smile and laugh. He didn't know a stranger. After owning Lakes Towing for over 20 years and keeping in touch with the towing community, he knew a lot of people. He couldn't always remember their names but he knew what vehicle they drove. For 15 years he worked for Manchester Middle School as Master Custodian and part time bus driver. For the past 14 months Randy was employed with Fallsway Equipment in Akron. He loved his job and the camaraderie with his Fallsway family.
He was a member of Grace Baptist Church and enjoyed riding his Harleys, hunting, fishing, being outdoors, and keeping his yard immaculate. He will be missed. There is a void in the lives of those who know and love him.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Randy's memory to Grace Baptist Church, 704 N. Firestone Blvd., Akron, OH 44306 or A.P.P.O Injured Drivers Fund, PO Box 3419, Alliance, OH 44601.
Family and friends may call on Sunday, April 3, 2016 from 2-7 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday from 10-11 followed by an 11:00 a.m. memorial service with Rev. Robert Stephens officiating.
