Randy E. Greathouse, Sr.

Randy E. Greathouse, Sr., 53, of Akron OH passed away unexpectedly on December 3, 2019. He was born in Akron, on January 20, 1966 to parents Larry and Pauline Greathouse.

Preceding him in death are his grandparents George Greathouse, Grampie (Eva) Sasinowski, and son Randy Greathouse Jr.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents; grandparent Doil Greathouse; son Shaun (Shauna) Greathouse; sisters Eva (Dave) Haverstick and Cindy (Bob) Donel; nephews Nick, Garrett, Kevin, David, and niece, Mary; and close friends Gary Weakland, Roger Holloway, Steve Marks, and Joe Baumgardner.

Randy was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved firearms and had a large collection of them. He owned and operated Greathouse Heating and Cooling for more than 25 years and had a passion for serving the local community with their HVAC needs. Family and friends were important to Randy, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Family and friends are invited to visit Saturday December 14, 2019 from 930am - 11am at Newcomer Funeral Home Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. A celebration of Randy's life will immediately follow at 11am.
