Randy Joe Henley

Randy J. Henley passed away on July 26, 2023 at the age of 76 after a long illness. Born on June 21, 1947 in Akron, Ohio to the late Virgil and Lucia (nee DiNapoli) Henley. Randy graduated from Garfield High School and the University of Indiana. He also attended the University of the Americas in Mexico City. He earned a master's degree in Spanish and taught in the Akron Public School system, retiring from East High School. Randy proudly served his country in the United States Air Force in country and Vietnam.

Randy is preceded in death by his parents. Left to cherish his memory are his siblings, Virginia (Larry) Bays, John (Michelle) Henley, and Elizabeth (nee Henley) Sargent; nieces and nephews, Suzan (Adam) Galbreath, Jennifer Bays, Matthew Henley, Andrew (Vanessa) Henley, and Nathan (Sadie) Sargent; and six great-nieces and great-nephews.

Per his wishes, cremation and a private family burial has already taken place.
