Randy J. Watt, 64, of Clinton, OH, passed away suddenly in the hospital on Friday, January 7, 2022 with his wife by his side. His life was cut short unnecessarily by COVID-19.
He was born on September 21, 1957 in Bellaire, OH, to the late Robert E. and Agnes M. Greenwood Watt.
Randy retired in 2018 from First Energy Solutions Corp after a dedicated career of 39 years. He was a passionate songwriter and musician who enjoyed playing around the fire with his friends. On occasion, Randy performed at local venues.
He was an avid nature lover, spending many days on the banks of the Ohio River, exploring the mountains of West Virginia, riding rapids of local rivers and streams and appreciated each sunrise and sunset on the horizon of his beloved Lake Erie. He possessed a vast knowledge of birds, their songs, and the trees they inhabited.
Randy leaves behind his beloved wife Victoria Stefan Watt; two daughters, Jessica Watt Dougherty (Stephen) of Bellaire, OH and Danielle Watt (Brent) of Moundsville, WV; brother, Steve Watt (Sharon) of New Richmond, OH; three grandchildren Jillian Dobson, Griffin Kritz and Benjamin Dougherty; multiple nieces and nephews; our beloved fur babies, Harry and Bella; numerous friends; and his cousins, Tammy and Jim.
Randy gave generously of himself to help care for his late mother-in-law, Betty Light and is greatly loved by his wife's family and his Brown Street Family of chosen brothers and sisters.
Randy was deeply loved by his wife, Victoria, and she will be carrying his heart in her heart always.
