Randy Paul Wightman

Randy Wightman, 58, of Akron, passed away suddenly on February 24, 2022. He graduated from Garfield High School and received his bachelors of finance from The University of Akron. Randy was an avid golfer and Cleveland sports fan. He was known for his quick wit and great sense of humor.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Dolores Wightman. He will be deeply missed by brothers, Rodney (Terry), Kevin (Jean), Shawn, and Scott (Julie) Wightman; and sister, Michele (Brent) Holderbaum. He was a devoted uncle to, Tara and Adam Holderbaum, and Amanda, Brooke and Carly Wightman. He will be sorely missed by many other family members and friends. He will never be forgotten by all who loved him.

Visitation will take place at Newcomer 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, on Thursday March 3, 2022 from 4pm until 7pm. A funeral service will take place at 7pm.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dave Tarr and family, and Jim and Vanita Oelschlager for their support and generosity over the years. They would also like to thank the therapy staff at Edwin Shaw for their compassionate care.
