Ray N. Finch, Sr., 74, of Akron, passed away February 29, 2008. Ray was born in Akron on May 18, 1933. He retired from Goodyear after over 30 years of service. Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Martha Finch and brother, Ronald Finch. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 13 years, Carol; children, Ray Finch, Deborah Finch, Gary (Susan) Finch, Cynthia Finch (Joseph Manes), and Cheryl (Charles) Alderson; stepson, Kenneth Pitman; daughter-in-law, Tracy Vogus; thirteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and all who knew and loved him. Family and friends may call on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd.
