Raymond Crowe Jr., 72 of Akron, born October 19, 1940 in Charleston, W.Va., has gone home to be with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, on August 29, 2013 after a courageous battle with lung cancer, he was a wonderful husband and father and will be greatly missed by those who know & love him. He was a hard working man who provided well for his family. Mr. Crowe is survived by his wife of 43 years, Leilani A. Crowe, of Akron, sons; Nick A. of Wooster, Michael A. of Wadsworth, daughter Victoria (James) Hobson of Kenmore, son Christopher P. (Rhonda) of Akron, & daughter Laura L. Crowe of Marshallville. Five grand children and three very special great grandsons, Nathanael, Zachary, & Jonathan of Akron. Brothers; Jim (Maralyn), Danny (Diane) and Robert all of Wadsworth, Sisters; Lorraine (Kenny) Williams of West Virginia, Rita (Paul) Eastep of Rittman and Diane LeGuillion (Charles) of Doylestown, many nieces and nephews, & good friend, Richard Goodwill. Mr. Crowe was preceded in death by his parents Raymond Arthur and Stella (Sexton) Crowe, twin brother Carmel Lee, sisters; Shirley Pelot, & Lola Winston. He retired from West Roofing Systems of Lagrange, where he worked as a foam technician.
A memorial service will be held at Stow Falls Baptist Church, where he has been a member for many years, located at, 1601 Munroe Falls Ave, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44221 with Pastor Tim Huth officiating on Saturday, August 31 , 2013. Calling hours will be from 11:00 - 12:00, service immediately following. A sit down dinner will be served immediately after the service in the fellowship hall at Stow Falls Baptist Church.
