Raymond E. Harp, Jr.

ELLET—On January 18, 2011, Raymond E. Harp, Jr., 58 years, left this earth to be reunited with his parents, Ray and Juanita Harp, in their heavenly home. He graduated from Ellet High School and then served time in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed watching the Cleveland Indians and Browns. When able, he loved to fish, cook, bake cookies and read the Bible to his mom. He is survived by his sisters, Barb (Bob) Cones, Linda (Gary) Engle, and Joyce (Jim) Moss. Also survived by his aunt, Helen; 6 nieces and nephews; and his 3 great-nieces, Kaitlyn, Casandra, and Kayla, whom he loved very much. The family would like to thank the staff of Essex in Tallmadge and his very helpful roommate, Jeff for the care he received. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 22, at 10 a.m. at Community Baptist Church, 1695 Massillon Rd., Akron, OH 44312, Rev. Paul Bloom officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may me made to the Haven of Rest Ministries at P.O. Box 547, Akron, OH 44309.
