Raymond G. Ferrell, Jr.
Raymond G. Ferrell, Jr., 90, passed away on March 29, 2012. Raymond served during WWII with the US Marines and also the US Navy. He retired from Conrail after many years of service.
Preceded in death by his wife, Bertha; and daughter, Kathleen. Survivors include sons, Patrick (Kelly), Timothy, and Michael; grandchildren, Jennifer Lynn Beale, Erin E. Ferrell, DVM; great-grandchildren, Van Timothy Beale and Ozzy Lane Beale; sister, Peggy (Dart) Keech.
Calling hours will be Tuesday, 10 am to 1 pm, at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, with a funeral service to follow at 1 pm. Interment at Grandview Memorial Park in Ravenna. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Prevent Blindness Ohio, Hillcrest Medical Building #1, 6803 Mayfield Rd., Suite 111, Cleveland, OH 44124.
